‘No Question’ where Kane be on 31 Aug after Tottenham reveal

There is “no question” Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham this summer, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa captain claimed Spurs will not be able to replace Kane at this stage in the window and will therefore block an exit.

The Telegraph reported yesterday (23 August) Daniel Levy will not drop his valuation of the England captain in the final week of the window.

Football Insider reported on 13 August Manchester City are laying the groundwork for an “astonishing” new bid.

This site first broke the news on 9 April Kane wants to quit his boyhood club this summer.

But Agbonlahor has insisted that is increasingly unlikely with the window set to close on 31 August.

He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “The longer it goes on, the more chance there is of him staying.

“When you’re Harry Kane and you mean that much to Spurs… When Spurs look at it and think ‘Who can we bring in to replace him? How much time have we got?’

“They haven’t got enough time to bring in anyone to replace him. That means there is even less chance of Harry Kane leaving

“For me, he will stay, there’s no question about that. The sooner the window over, the better for everyone.

“Harry Kane will get his head down and respect that Spurs won’t let him go.”

Kane made his first appearance of the season as a substitute against Wolves at the weekend.

The 28-year-old played the final 18 minutes as Spurs made it consecutive 1-0 wins in the league.

In other news, Tottenham have agreed personal terms as a signing is all but done.
