Nottingham Forest fans explode at ‘horrendous’ Ola Aina after what they saw
Nottingham Forest fans have been left fuming at Ola Aina after his performance in their heavy Premier League defeat v Newcastle United.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side fell to a 4-3 defeat at St James’ Park despite taking the lead through Callum Hudson-Odoi just six minutes into the game.
Goals from Lewis Miley, Jacob Murphy, and a brace from Alexander Isak sent the hosts into half-time with a 4-1 lead, before Nikola Milenkovic and Ryan Yates made the scoreline respectable.
However, the focus of the travelling fans was fixed on the performance of Aina after the 28-year-old was at fault for a number of goals they conceded.
The first Newcastle goal came following a needless free kick, the second after the right wing-back was beaten on the wing, and the third from a penalty given away for a “stupid” hand ball.
As a result, Nottingham Forest fans have been heavily critical of his display, while many are suggesting his performances have been on a downward spiral in recent weeks.

That downturn in form has coincided with Aina’s declining performances, leaving many at the City Ground frustrated by the sudden drop in results.
Taking to social media during and following the Newcastle defeat, the travelling fans took to social media as they labelled Aina “horrendous” and “shocking”.
