Odds slashed: Arsenal move from 10/1 to 4/7 to sign PL ace after Sky report huge development

Arsenal are now the massive favourites to complete a January move for West Brom defender Jonny Evans.
Just a week ago, Premier league rivals Manchester City were 1/5 and Arsenal were 10/1 as it looked like the enforcer would be heading to the league leaders.
However, in a dramatic development, Sky Sports reported on Thursday that Aymeric Laporte was close to joining Manchester City from Athletic Bilbao.
It was claimed that Manchester City were happy to pay the £57m release clause and break their transfer record to bring the centre-back to the Etihad.
That saw a dramatic reversal of the odds, with SkyBet now putting Arsenal as the massive runaway favourites to sign Evans at 4/7.
Man City are now the closest rivals to Arsenal in the market, but way back at 16/1.

The move looks even more certain after West Brom reportedly agreed a deal for Evan’s replacement on Thursday.
The Birmingham Mail claimed that the west midlands side had reached agreement over the transfer of defender Ali Gabr from Egyptian club Zamalek.
In other Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners are plotting a move for this Brazilian wonderkid.
