Mauricio Pochettino delivered some great news for Tottenham fans with the news that Toby Alderweireld is set to return to first-team training.
He went on to say that he could even make his return as soon as the FA cup game with Newport next Saturday.
Ben Pearce, a journalist with ESPN, quoted Pochettino from his pre-match press conference on Friday lunchtime.
#thfc Pochettino on Toby Alderweireld: "I think maybe if all is ok with him, maybe tomorrow he can integrate with some exercises and bit by bit build his fitness." Says there's a chance he could return in next weekend's FA Cup tie.

It had previously been reported that Alderweireld wouldn’t be back to full fitness until February, which would have meant him missing the FA Cup game and the Premier League clash with Man United.
Today’s update from Pochettino means that he could be in line for an unlikely return for both of the games.
