Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Lucas Moura is finally fit enough to stake a claim in the first-team squad, ahead of the north London derby with Arsenal.
Tottenham take on Arsenal at Wembley in one of the most important games of the season.
A win for Tottenham could all but scupper Arsenal’s faint hopes of a top-four finish and proper Spurs into third, ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea.
And Tottenham fans will be excited at the news that Lucas Moura is “ready” after training well although he is “feeling his legs”.
Pochettino was talking in his pre-match press conference about his new £25million deadline day signing.
He’s yet to make an appearance for Spurs yet after not being eligible to play in the FA Cup replay with Newport as he wasn’t registered before the first match.
Pochettino was quoted by Alasdair Gold on his personal Twitter page on Thursday afternoon.
Poch hasn't decided yet if Toby Alderweireld will start against Arsenal. Lucas Moura is ready after training well although 'he's feeling his legs'. Also it's Daniel Levy's birthday today and Poch was asked if he had got him a present. 'Yes, myself!' Then he started cracking up.

Reading between the lines it looks like Moura is unlikely to start but could make the bench and may still have an impact in a game that will let him know the intensity and passion of the Premier League.
