Pundit applauds Nuno stance on Kane after Tottenham transfer talks reveal
Alan Hutton has applauded Nuno Espirito Santo for making a “strong stance” on Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs defender suggested the new boss would be getting “annoyed” by the speculation surrounding the striker.
As quoted by the BBC, the Portuguese boss insisted there was “no need to talk” about Kane quitting Tottenham this summer.
Reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano (July 18th) has reported talks are scheduled between Nuno, Kane, Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy over the coming days in a bid to convince him to stay.
As revealed by Football Insider in April, the striker is “hell bent” on leaving the club in pursuit of major trophies.
However, he still has three years left on his contract and Levy is reluctant to let him go.

Hutton insisted Nuno was right to shut down talk of Kane’s departure before he has spoken to the England ace.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Nuno has to be strong during these talks. He (Kane) has signed a long contract.
“We know he wants to win things and play at the highest level possible.
“But that’s what Nuno will be trying to do with this team.
“He’s signed as a Tottenham player for a long time, and as a manager that is what you’d be saying.
“He’ll probably be getting annoyed because every press conference will have the same questions. He has to make his stance.
“It’s good to hear, but ultimately we’ll see over the coming weeks how this develops.”
