Pundit predicts second Tottenham superstar to follow Kane out amid Nuno-Levy showdown
Nuno Espirito Santo will have had full and frank discussions with Daniel Levy about his running of Tottenham.
That is according to ex-West Ham striker Frank McAvennie who, in exclusive conversation with Football Insider, predicted that Son Heung-Min will exit Spurs this summer alongside Harry Kane.
Kane’s contract runs until 2024 while the club’s other superstar Son is committed to the North London club until 2023.
As revealed by this site in April, Kane has made it known to friends that he wants to quit Spurs this summer amid interest from Man City.
However, an industry source told Football Insider in May that Tottenham are confident of keeping hold of Son, 28, ahead of next season.
The club confirmed the appointment of former Wolves boss Nuno yesterday (30th June).

And McAvennie asserts that the Portuguese will have discussed the possibility of big-name departures with Spurs supremo Levy.
He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “Tottenham are supposed to be a big club but if you want to be a big club you’ve got spend money.
“That’s why Kane’s leaving, because they’ve not spent money. I tell you what, Son will go as well.
“There’s always talk about Daniel Levy but I would love to be a fly on the wall for one of these conversations with the new manager.
“He’ll ask why did this happen, why did that happen? Why did you sack a manager on the week of a cup final, to save money?
“They’ll talk about all this. Levy will tell him that Kane’s leaving but he’ll go on his terms.
“It will be £100million plus a couple of players, and that sounds okay to me.”
Kane scored 33 goals and provided 17 assists for Spurs in 2020-21.
Son meanwhile netted 22 times and supplied 17 assists.
