Rafa Benitez has revealed both Dwight Gayle and Vurnon Anita are fine to face Reading in Newcastle’s Tuesday evening Championship clash.
However, long-term injured duo Isaac Hayden and Rolando Aarons are still having problems before the battle in Berkshire.
Toon fans will be delighted to hear that top scorer Gayle is ready to play once more after his scoring return against Huddersfield on Saturday evening.
Bentiz’ quotes on the injuries were covered in his press conference on Monday afternoon by Chronicle chief sports writer Lee Ryder on his personal Twitter account.
Rafa: "In terms of injuries Hayden and Rolando have problems.
"Gayle is fine and Anita is fine." #nufc

Supporters will still be hoping that Hayden returns to the team before the season’s end with many critical comments about the displays of stand in midfielder Jack Colback.
The 21-year-old summer signing from Arsenal has not played for the north east giants since undergoing an operation on his ankle in February.
He has missed his club’s last four league matches, which have resulted in three victories and one draw, but many believe he is still key to helping Newcastle make an instant return to the Premier League.
The Tyneside club are currently five points clear at the top of the Championship table, but they will be challenged once more by Jaap Stam’s fifth placed Reading in midweek.
In other Newcastle team news, Toon fans slammed the display of this 29-year-old against Huddersfield.
