Rangers backed to make ‘personnel changes’ after Kevin Thelwell reveal
Rangers’ new owners have faced a challenging start to life at Ibrox since securing their takeover.
The US consortium, which is led by Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises, completed its takeover of Rangers in May.
However, Rangers were forced to sack Russell Martin earlier this month following a disappointing start to the campaign.
Danny Rohl was appointed as the new manager on 20 October after a drawn-out process, which saw the likes of Steven Gerrard and Kevin Muscat turn down the opportunity to join the club.

Rangers to make Ibrox staff changes
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider there will be changes to the personnel at Rangers once the owners have completed their 100-day review.
Football Insider revealed on 13 October sporting director Kevin Thelwell’s position at Rangers is under scrutiny after playing a major role in bringing Martin to the club.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “They’ve got the new ownership, who are getting their feet under the table and starting to understand some of the challenges at Rangers. We know what tends to happen in these sorts of situations.
“That understanding is there, so once they’ve done their 100-day review, they’re probably pretty close to that right now actually, but once they’ve gone through that process of understanding what’s going on in the organisation, that’s when you start to see changes in the personnel.
“I would expect that’s probably inevitable at some point, and the team on the pitch has to start winning, which I suspect they will.”

Rangers’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday (26 October) ensures Rohl has already matched the one victory Martin picked up in the Scottish Premiership before his sacking.
Danny Rohl must achieve ‘absolutely critical’ Rangers goal
Rohl has taken charge of the club after previously spending two years at Sheffield Wednesday.
“He’s a very highly-rated manager,” said Borson.
“They’ve got players that are good enough to perform in the Scottish Premiership. They’re probably already too far behind to win the league, but I suspect that they will improve between now and the end of the season.

“Then it’s all about what happens next season and where they end up qualifying-wise for a European competition. That’s really absolutely critical for them. If you can’t win the league, you absolutely have to get into Europe.”
Rangers have moved up to fifth in the Scottish Premiership table and they are now just five points behind Celtic in second place.
