The 30-year-old joined the Ibrox giants in the summer from Benfica and has been one of the few Pero Caixinha’s to make an impact in Scottish football.
Gers fans were in disbelief that Candeias didn’t even make the shortlist for the award – with one fan claiming the Ibrox ace was “robbed.”

So the best CB by a distance Berra misses out on Player of the Year nomination, as does the most creative player topping the assists Candeias. Seems legit

Candeias performances this season saw the winger rewarded with a one-year contract extension to keep him at Ibrox now until the summer of 2020.
