Rangers fans slate one aspect of Murty team after victory v Hamilton

Rangers took maximum points on Sunday in the Scottish Premier League, beating Hamilton Academical 5-3 away at New Douglas Park.
But despite the victory, supporters of the club were disappointed with one area of their team and expressed their desire for that to be rectified going forward on social media.
David Bates and Russell Martin started in the centre of the defence for the trip and neither convinced supporters of the club that their place in the starting XI should be certain.
One supporter said, ‘Both centre halves, Martin in particular, looked really dodgy,’ and another added, ‘David Bates at centre half talk me through that performance.’
From the off the defence was careless and all at sea for the goal from the corner that gave the home side an early advantage in the match.
A Josh Windass hattrick, along with goals from Alfredo Morelos and Jamie Murphy ensured Graeme Murty’s side took all three points despite the unconvincing back-line.
The result was good for the Gers though considering that Aberdeen lost against Hibernian while Old Firm rivals Celtic were unable to beat St Johnstone – nine points is now the gap between the two Glasgow enemies.
Following the game, fans took to Twitter to give their reaction on the result and many wanted to hammer the defence for their display.
