Declan John sends Twitter message to Rangers fans about win v Hearts

Rangers left-back Declan John believes that the Light Blues were well-worthy of their 2-0 victory over Hearts, and paid tribute to his team-mates on Twitter after the game.
The Gers were comfortable winners over Craig Levein’s side, and the win could have been by far more goals if they hadn’t missed so many chances.
Both Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos were guilty of missing great chances before the Gers took the lead just before half-time, Jamie Murphy scoring from just inside the penalty box in the 41st minute.
Graeme Murty’s side continued to make the running in the second-half, and Windass was again the culprit, missing two great chances, before Russell Martin made the points safe in the 88th minute.
After the game, John took to Twitter to deliver his message to the fans who made it to Ibrox.
“Great result today and the performance showed it thanks for the support,” the 22-year-old said on his personal Twitter account.

The win cuts Celtic’s lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership, before Celtic take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday in a game which could have huge ramifications at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
A win for Celtic would see the gap go back to nine points whilst a win for Derek McInnes’ side would see them close to within six points of the top of the league.
Rangers are due to play Celtic at Ibrox on the 11th of March.
