Rangers odds-on to sign sensational deal for dazzling PL attacker as the Gerrard effect takes hold
Rangers fans could already be seeing the effects of Steven Gerrard taking over as manager as their side is now odds-on to sign Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke this summer.
However, they’re not going to have it all their own way with several Premier League sides and bitter rivals Celtic also in the running to snap up the youngster.
Solanke, 20, hasn’t made the impact he wanted at Anfield this season, but he has got bags of potential and could light up the Premiership.
He’s made 26 appearances for the Premier League giants, but the competition is too much for him to force his way into Klopp’s thinking.
And now, according to leading bookies BetStars, an Ibrox switch is on the cards.
Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “Steven Gerrard could be closing in on his first signing as Rangers boss in the form of Dominic Solanke.

“Solanke is odds-on at 8/11 to move to the Ibrox Stadium.
“Although the odds have the Gers as the runaway leaders for Solanke’s signature, Leicester are also in with a shout of landing the 20-year-old at 3/1.
“Solanke can also be found at 6/1 to sign for Celtic in a move which would see the forward re-unite with his former youth coach at Chelsea, Brendan Rodgers.”
