Reliable journalist details how centre-forward quartet can become available to Leeds after Forshaw swoop
Leeds United are continuing their search for a centre-forward and have four targets on their radar, according to a reliable journalist.
Yorkshire football journalist Joe Rawson claimed on his personal Twitter account that Adam Forshaw should complete his move to Elland Road from Middlesbrough on Thursday as long as he passes his medical, and after that, a quartet of strikers would become available to Leeds if they are willing to stump up the cash.
It is understood that Rangers’ Josh Windass, Derby’s Chris Martin, Peterborough’s Jack Marriott and Preston’s Jordan Hugill would all be available to the Whites for the right price.
Forshaw will be completed today as long as he passes his medical. Search for a striker continues – if they are willing to pay ???? the names that have been mentioned Windass, Martin, Marriott and Hugil would be available #lufc

The Daily Record has reported that Leeds are ready to make an offer for Ibrox forward Windass, 24, this month and bid more than Preston’s £500,000 offer that has previously been kicked back.
The former Accrington Stanley ace will likely be the cheapest of the options available as it has been widely reported that Derby target man Martin would demand to high a wage to move to Elland Road.
Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has remained reluctant about losing League One goal machine Marriott while BBC pundit Noel Whelan believes Hugill to be worth £10million.
Football Insider verdict
Leeds definitely need a new centre-forward this month because their whole season will disintegrate before their very eyes if they do not quickly find a reliable source of goals. Kemar Roofe has blown hot and cold this season while Samuel Saiz has been banned for six games. Those two have been the most lethal in front of goal and there has to be an improvement. Out of the four mentioned, Windass would be the most likely for Leeds. He will probably cost less than the other three due as Rangers will not have much of a leg to stand on if a decent offer is put in.
In other Leeds United news, this £3million duo may be offloaded on temporary deals this month.
