Paul Robinson has claimed Liverpool star Adam Lallana is in line to join Leicester City this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, the former England goalkeeper claimed the attacking midfielder is set to leave Anfield and be re-united with Brendan Rodgers.
Lallana, 31, is out of contract at the end of June and is in line to head the list of stars exiting Liverpool at the end of the season.
He has not been offered an extension by Liverpool after slipping down the pecking order in recent season, partly due to injury problems.
The England international has stayed fit in this campaign but has made just three Premier League starts among his 22 appearances in all competitions.
“We will see Lallana move on at the end of the season, a distinct possibility he ends up at Leicester,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“When he has come in he has done well, he is still a top player.”
Lallana has remained a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s title-chasing squad and was on the bench for their most recent match, the Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid.
He joined Liverpool from Southampton in the summer of 2014 for around £25million when Rodgers was the manager.
The 34-times England international has made 178 appearances for the Merseyside giants, scoring 22 goals and supplying 22 assists.
He also played 261 matches for Southampton and was their captain before he left.
In other Liverpool news, Kevin Phillips has told Football Insider how Anfield rising star may be joining West Brom.
