Tottenham handed huge boost ahead of PL clash with Man United – report
Tottenham have been handed a massive boost today with the news that Danny Rose could be back in action later this month, according to a report.
The Evening Standard claims that Rose, who has only started eight games this season, suffered a recurrence of his knee injury in the Boxing Day game against Southampton and has been unable to train since.
It was thought that he was going to be out for a long time but after being assessed it appears it just needs rest and Rose could be back a lot quicker than expected.
It is now thought that he will be in line for a return by the end of the month, which could see him return to action for the massive Premier League game against Manchester United on January 31.
Tottenham could do with everyone fit for the United game as they look to haul in their northern rivals.
Tottenham are currently fifth in the league with 41 points, six points behind United in second.
Man City are a further 15 points ahead of United and it appears that everyone else is playing for second place this season.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have made a huge mistake in sanctioning the exit of a speed machine.
