Russell Martin has just done something unforgivable at Rangers, he must be sacked immediately
Russell Martin’s managerial tenure at Ibrox must end after what happened after the draw at Falkirk.
Martin has been severely under pressure at Rangers for weeks, following a disastrous start to the season under the former Southampton boss.
Humiliation for Rangers against Club Brugge in the Champions League has been followed by just one win to begin the Scottish Premiership season.
Mikey Moore was criticised for his performance against Falkirk, and many Rangers stars have underperformed under Martin.

Russell Martin shows zero leadership after Falkirk draw
Following the match at Falkirk, Martin was seen departing the stadium individually instead of getting on the team coach with the players and other management.
Despite fans’ protests and frustrations post-match, which looked to have impacted Martin’s decision not leave on the coach, the manager showed a lack of leadership with his actions.
On X, [5 October], Tom English said: “This can’t carry on.
“On a human level, it’s too much. Smuggled out in a car with police protection. Come on.
“Nobody deserves that. Rangers bosses need to bring an end to this. Duty of care issues, surely?”
Martin has shown little leadership, and taken little accountability during his time at Rangers, and this latest act shows the toxic nature of the club right now will not help them move forward.
Martin leaves new manager with mess that will be hard to fix
Rangers now have the perfect window of opportunity to sack Martin, and they need to bring in an experienced manager who will be able to steer he club through this tough time.
They need a manager who is also adaptable, as Martin has shown that he isn’t willing to change his tactics in order to get better results.

Martin has had enough time now at Rangers to implement his ideas and settle new players into the club, and there has been no improvement in performances.
His summer arrivals have not worked out, and recruitment is ultimately down to the manager, with defensive frailties from under Phillipe Clement and Barry Ferguson still on show.
Martin has not improved anything at Rangers, and the next manager faces a huge task on their hands ensuring they make the top two come May.
