Shock Arsenal team news as Iwobi and Welbeck start, Sanchez axed v Chelsea – reports
Arsenal fans could be in for a shock, with two reliable journalists both reporting shock team news for the League Cup semi-final with Chelsea tonight.
Matt Law from the Daily Telegraph has said that Alex Iwobi is set to start, which he claims is “bizarre”.
Meanwhile, David Hytner from the Guardian claims that Alexis Sanchez will not be starting as forecast.
Instead he will be on the bench and Danny Welbeck will be in the starting XI.
Both journalists posted the news on their official Twitter accounts on Wednesday evening, ahead of any official announcement.
Big team news from Arsenal tonight. Sounds like Iwobi starting too which I find utterly bizarre https://t.co/jDPBTQ1L8c

If the team news is correct Arsenal fans will be fearing the worst from a game their side really needs to get something out of ahead of the second leg.
After being dumped out of the FA Cup in the third round by Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Wenger will be under extraordinary pressure if his side gets dismantled at Stamford Bridge.
Sanchez on the bench also points towards an imminent move for the attacker, with Man City waiting in the wings.
In other Arsenal news, it has been reported that the Gunners are ready to trigger the release clause for this Argentine star.
