No prizes for guessing who sits at the very top of the pile – Romelu Lukaku, the striker who was so good, Everton still haven’t really recovered from him leaving.
Everton never hit the heights that meant they’d have a chance of keeping hold of Lukaku, who enjoyed two stints at the club, first on loan and then in a £32million move from Chelsea.
He was another player that was ruined at Stamford Bridge before setting the world alight at Goodison, scoring 87 in 166 games, before a massive £76million move to Man United where he still plays under Jose Mourinho.
