Sources: Arsenal holding Ballard exit talks this week as multiple clubs swoop
Arsenal will hold exit talks with Daniel Ballard this week to decide on where he will go next season, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The 21-year-old is the subject of multiple loan enquiries from EFL clubs including last season’s temporary team Blackpool.
A source at the Emirates has told Football Insider that Arsenal chiefs will meet with Ballard in the coming days to make plans for the next stage of his development.
It is expected the eight-times Northern Ireland international will be given the green light for a new season-long loan.
But a permanent move for the youngster has not been ruled out at this stage.
Ballard has two years remaining on his contract at the Emirates.

He spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Bloomfield Road and helped Neil Critchley’s side get promoted to the Championship.
Across all competitions the centre-half made 30 appearances, including starts in all three of Blackpool’s play-off fixtures.
Critchley is keen to re-sign Ballard as he looks to build a squad capable of competing in the second tier of English football.
A path into Mikel Arteta’s first team at Arsenal is not clear for Ballard.
The Gunners already boast the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Pablo Mari, Rob Holding and William Saliba at centre-half.
They are also keen to add Brighton defender Ben White into that mix and had an opening offer of £40million rejected.
As revealed by Football Insider on 22 June, the London club are readying a second offer for the England international.
William Saliba is likely to leave on loan for the third consecutive season with Newcastle United made aware of his availability.
