Tam McManus hits out at Rangers players, states what is diabolical
By Amir Mir
Tam McManus has hit out at the Rangers players during their 3-0 win against Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon by labelling them “absolutely average footballers”.
The former Hibernian striker slammed Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton and stated his recruitment was “diabolical” during his time at the club.
The Gers went on to claim all three points against the Dons despite Derek McIness’ side being the better team.
In the first half, Rangers edged Aberdeen in terms of performance but were under the cosh for the majority of the second-half with goalkeeper Wes Foderingham making some crucial saves.
However, three quickfire goals late in the second half helped the Glasgow club close the gap on the second-placed side in the table.

Former SPL player McManus offered this critical verdict of the Rangers players whilst watching them in action.
“Rangers have got some absolutely average footballers playing for them,” McManus wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Warburton’s recruitment, on the whole, was diabolical.”

Englishmen Warburton left his role at Ibrox in February and has since joined Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest.
Pedro Caixinha was the man picked to replace Warburton in the dugout as the Portuguese officially started his role after the 1-1 draw with Celtic in March.
He has taken charge of four matches, winning his first 4-0 against Hamilton before recording two frustrating draws against Motherwell and Kilmarnock respectively.
However, he picked up his most impressive wins against the Dons as they now have an outside chance of catching them in the table.
Caixinha’s side are nine points behind their rivals and are set to welcome them to Ibrox for their final clash of the season.
