22-year-old first name on teamsheet: Three things learned about Rangers from win v Hamilton
By James Black
Rangers cruised past Hamilton Academical 4-1 on Friday night in the Scottish Premiership as Pedro Caixinha’s side got over their Old Firm defeat with a comfortable 4-1 win at the SuperSeal Stadium.
Accies actually took the lead in the first minute when Danny Redmond poked the ball home before three goals in six minutes from the Gers turned the game on it’s head.
A double from Declan John and a fantastic strike from Daniel Candeias had the Light Blues 3-1 up at the break before Graham Dorrans’ Panenka-style penalty sealed the win.
Ryan Jack picked up a red card for the Caixinha’s side after two bookings before Wes Foderingham killed off any hopes of a comeback by the hosts when he saved Rakesh Bingham’s penalty.
Caixinha’s side showed great character throughout in a week where reports have claimed the manager has lost the dressing room and his side certainly all looked to be on the same page.
