Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has hit out at Paul Robinson after the Birmingham player is seen kicking and punching James Chester during the second City derby on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred when Gabby Agbonlahor scored the winning goal midway through the second half.
As the Villa players were running to celebrate with Agbonlahor, centre-back Robinson is seen lashing out at Chester, who falls to the ground.
At this moment in time, the Football Association have not investigated the incident, but it is now likely to come to their attention following the reaction it has got on social media.
The club’s owner labelled the 38-year-old defender as “disgusting” as the Blues went on to lose the match at Villa Park.

Robinson is a senior figure in the Blues dressing room, with the former Watford player beginning his career during the mid-nineties.
There was a lot riding on the match, with Birmingham looking to secure their safety after falling one place and two points above the relegation zone.
Gianfranco Zola resigned from his post last Monday, with Harry Redknapp taking charge and subsequently losing his first game as boss.
The former Tottenham manager now has two matches to keep the Blues in the second tier of English football, with Huddersfield their next opponents at St Andrew’s.
In other Aston Villa news, Tony Xia aimed this sly dig at this Villa player following the win against Birmingham.
