By Amir Mir
Tony Xia has stated that Aston Villa selling out their clash against Burton Albion on Boxing Day is signs that the hard work is paying off at the club.
The Chinese businessman also believes that the possibility of recording their fifth win on the bounce on home soil is an example of the club being rewarded for all their work.
The club confirmed on their official Twitter account on Saturday afternoon that their clash against Nigel Clough’s men on Monday has been sold out.

The Midlands side has been in decline over the past six years, battling relegation in the Premier League, before dropping down to the second tier for the first time in nearly three decades last season.
Xia purchased the club in June from the much-criticised Randy Lerner and the outspoken owner has since seen a transformation at the Championship outfit.
Since Steve Bruce’s appointment in mid-October, Villa have won six out of their 11 league games under the promotion expert, with his predecessor, Roberto Di Matteo, picking up only one victory.
Additionally, they are the only team who have not been beaten on home soil in the Championship this term.
