Tottenham 28-year-old jetting out to Euro club within hours - report
By Danny Wright
Tottenham attacker Moussa Sissoko is on the verge of joining Turkish club Trabzonspor according to a report.
Turkish news outlet Fanatik claimed in the early hours of Thursday morning that Sissoko, 28, will jet out to complete his season-long loan switch to the European club within the next 24 hours after an agreement was reached with Tottenham.
It is understood that Trabzonspor will not be paying a fee for the French international’s loan stay, despite him costing Spurs a stunning £30million last summer when he switched from Newcastle.
The report adds that the Turkish side will pay Sissoko’s wages for the duration of his temporary stay there, an amount which will be worth £3.2million for the season.
This comes after TalkSport presenter Geoff Peters claimed on his personal Twitter account that Sissoko was due to join Serie A champions Juventus within the next 24 hours.

The French international had a poor debut season at Tottenham as he failed to score in 36 appearances, supplying four assists in the process.
Football Insider Verdict
Tottenham should try to sell Sissoko for good rather than loan him out. However the Frenchman could turn his career around with a season in Turkey and may be worth a bit more when he returns to north London. There’s an increasing amount of money in Turkish football and Trabzonspor may be tempted to splash the cash on him next summer. It’s a very good deal for them though, because they’re not paying a loan fee and just paying Sissoko’s wages. It’s strange that Daniel Levy, who is usually very strict with the club’s finances, would let the ex-Newcastle man leave on such terms.
