Tottenham confirmed line-up v Millwall: 25-year-old attacker axed in four changes

By Harry Sykes

Mauricio Pochettino has made four changes to the side that beat Everton 3-2 in the Premier League last weekend, as they bid to make the final four of this year’s FA Cup.

Standing in their way are London rivals Millwall, who are looking for an upset as they attempt to shake off their League 1 credentials to shock their London rivals.

The team news was announced on the official Tottenham Twitter page ahead of the 2pm kick-off and the strong line-up shows how serious Spurs are in their quest to lift the trophy.

In comes Michel Vorm in goal, along with Kieran Trippier, Harry Winks and Son Heung-min.

They replace Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker, Mousa Dembele and 25-year-old attacker Christian Eriksen. It could spell the end for Vincent Janssen, who only makes the bench in a game he might have thought gave him one last chance in a Spurs shirt.

The FA Cup represents Tottenham’s best chance of silverware this season, although it won’t be easy even if they overcome Millwall today.

Bitter rivals Arsenal are already through to the semi-finals after beating non-league Lincoln City 5-0 yesterday, along with Manchester City who beat Middlesbrough 2-0.

Chelsea and Manchester United play in the final quarter-final tomorrow night in an extremely strong FA Cup line-up.

Chelsea are threatening to run away with the Premier League title and are looking to do the domestic double this season.

Tottenham are in second place in the league, only seven points behind Chelsea, but the league leaders have a game in hand and don’t look like slipping up.
