Tottenham expert can't believe how good Mikey Moore is after what he's seen at Hotspur Way

15-year-old Tottenham star Mikey Moore has yet again proved his credentials with an “absolutely ridiculous” goal for the club’s Under-18s.

That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Last Saturday (5 November), Tottenham’s Under-18 side smashed Charlton’s Under-18s 5-1 in the Premier League Cup.

Moore and Will Lankshear grabbed braces while Jamie Donley rounded out the scoring.

Wenham previously told this site that Moore is an “outstanding” prospect who is playing well above his level.

The Spurs expert was once again blown away by the youngster against Charlton.

“Mickey Moore scored two in that game against Charlton, he is someone I said I will be talking about a lot more,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“One of the goals was absolutely ridiculous as well. He is on such a positive trajectory as a 15-year-old being selected to play at a higher level and contributing massively in those games.

“That is really pleasing for me. It was great to see Jamie Donley get on the scoresheet as well, it’s been a little while since he scored so that was great for him.

“The fact we have added Donley and Lankshear is fantastic for the club and things are looking a lot better now.

“We got that win over Marseille a few weeks ago in the Youth League and that really set us straight in my opinion.

“It was so important to just get a win by any means necessary. Things are finally looking so much more positive.”

In other news, sources have told Football Insider that Tottenham are opening talks with a key player over a big-money new deal.
