'The most Spurs thing I've ever seen' - Tottenham fans stunned by ex-player's red hot form
By Russell Edge
Tottenham fans have been left stunned on social media after former player Paulinho scored his second goal in as many games for Barcelona.
The Brazilian midfielder, who spent two years in North London before moving to Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande in 2015, netted against SD Eibar in a 6-1 victory on Tuesday in his first start for the Catalan giants.
The strike follows the goal he scored after coming on as a substitute against Getafe on Saturday, leaving him with two goals in four league appearances.
The 29-year-old’s red hot form has left Tottenham fans bemused, as he struggled to demonstrate the form expected, and was named the club’s worst ever player in a feature by football magazine Four Four Two.
Many Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their disbelief at what they were seeing.

The Brazilian international, who has 41 caps and nine goals for his country, arrived at White Hart Lane from Brazilian side Corinthians back in 2013.
He went on to make 67 appearances across all competitions for Spurs, scoring ten times and notching up a further seven assists, before departing for China.
There he flourished, scoring 28 goals in 95 appearances and earning himself a move back to Europe for one of the world’s biggest clubs.
In other Tottenham news, fans were brutal towards this midfielder during their victory over Barnsley.
