'I'm in disbelief', 'What is going on?' – Tottenham fans stunned by display of fringe player v Swansea
Tottenham booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a dominating victory over Swansea.
That was expected though, with Spurs the overwhelming favourites to progress against struggling Swansea.
What Tottenham fans weren’t expecting was for a world-class performance from midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
With just 12 starts in the Premier League, Sissoko has been a bit-part player for Mauricio Pochettino this season, and he’s come under sustained criticism from Tottenham fans.
However, they’re more than happy to give credit where credit’s due and they took to Twitter during the game in disbelief at how well he played at the Liberty Stadium.
One fan said that there must have been some sort of Freaky Friday body swap, with the spirit of Mousa Dembele taking over Sissoko’s body.

Another said he was in disbelief at how well he was playing, with another exclaiming “What’s going on?”

I am starting to think there has been some sort of Freaky Friday body swap and Dembele is actually possessing Sissoko's body right now.
Sissoko had a very tidy Dembele style 1st half.

Sissoko hasn't actually played poor for once, making great runs. Eriksen and lamela have been running the show. Son has been unlucky but I'm sure he'll get his goal today

Got a new Sissoko. Would be worth keeping him in this form

I'm in disbelief. I've just seen Sissoko have a rather decent first half (definitely jinxing him by saying this).
