Tottenham injury latest: Sky Sports share Harry Kane update
By Harry Sykes
Harry Kane will not find out until Tuesday at the earliest the extent of the ankle injury he sustained at the weekend, according to a report.
Sky Sports claim on their website that a scan planned by Tottenham’s medical team for Monday has been delayed by at least 24 hours.
It is said that Spurs want the swelling on Kane’s ankle to subside before the tests take place.
Kane left White Hart Lane on crutches and with his right ankle in a protective boot following Tottenham’s 6-0 FA Cup demolition of Millwall on Sunday.
Spurs’ talisman and the joint leading Premier League top scorer this season with 19 goals twisted his joint under a challenge from Jake Cooper and left the field of play 10 minutes into the quarter-final tie.

Sky Sports report that Kane underwent treatment at Tottenham’s Enfield training headquarters on Monday following the scan delay.
Tottenham are fearing the worst after manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed after the match that the injury was similar to the one the striker suffered earlier in the season when he damaged ligaments in his ankle.
Kane was out for seven weeks with the problem he sustained in September and there are fears he will now be sidelined for a similar length of time.

Kane will be sorely missed if he is absent for any length of time, given that his 29 appearances in all competitions this season have yielded 24 goals.
Son replaced him up front against Millwall and will need to repeat his clinical finishing against the third-tier side against higher level opposition in the weeks ahead if Spurs are to maintain their fight for a second-placed Premier League finish and FA Cup glory.
Tottenham will next face Southampton in the Premier League at White Hart Lane on Sunday as they look to maintain the pressure on runaway leaders Chelsea.
