Tottenham are the favourites to sign Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon in January, according to a report.
The Mail claims that they lead a heavyweight race that also includes Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, if they do sign the player in January Fulham want them to agree to loan him back to them for the remainder of this season.
The 17-yer-old sensation has made 26 Championship appearances so far this season, and scored an impressive seven goals and added four assists.
He’s played more at the left-back position for Fulham this season but it appears he might have even more to offer in attack, with five goals and two assists come from just seven appearances on the wing.
Football Insider verdict:
This would be a real coup for Pochettino for a player who is wanted by some of the best clubs in the land. And for good reason. Incredibly, Sessegnon is only 17-years-old but is already commanding a first-team position in one of the toughest leagues in the world. He’s got a physical presence beyond his years and is exactly the sort of player that first the Pochettino blueprint. If Fulham want him back for the rest of the season it’s a small price to pay to land one of the most promising prospects at any club in any league in England.
