Tottenham plan to accept Djed Spence and Bryan Gil offers – sources
Tottenham will look to sell Djed Spence and Bryan Gil this summer after they have both failed to make an impression during their time at the club.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the 23-year-old duo are well down the pecking order and are expected to move on from north London once the transfer window reopens.
Football Insider first revealed last month Spurs are willing to listen to offers for Spence as they look to offload multiple senior players this summer.
The right-back spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Leeds United in the Championship before joining Italian side Genoa temporarily in January.
Spence has been deemed surplus to requirements by the club and is expected to leave north London in the coming weeks despite his contract running until 2027.
Although Gil made up part of Ange Postecoglou’s squad for the manager’s first season in charge, the left-sided attacker failed to make a claim for more first-team opportunities.
The Spanish international is under contract until 2026, but he is also likely to be sold this summer.
Tottenham could sell both Djed Spence and Bryan Gil this summer
Spence and Gil have both struggled since joining Tottenham after making just 49 appearances for the club between them.
Neither player has impressed massively in their loan spells away from Spurs, either, leading to there being little interest from other teams in signing them on a permanent deal.

Tottenham will still look to move them both on as Postecoglou looks to bring in some extra funds to strengthen his squad this summer.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month the duo are two of nine senior players the club will listen to offers for once the transfer window reopens next month.
