Tottenham ace Kane 'tailor-made' for Man United as twist spells end of Man City dream - pundit
Harry Kane may consider Man United a more attractive option than Man City as he looks to fashion his exit from Tottenham.
That is according to ex-West Ham goalscorer Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after the Sun reported on 28th May that City are lining up a move for Barcelona forward Antoine Griezman.
It is claimed that Kane remains City’s top target but they understand it will be difficult to lure him with three years left on his Spurs contract.
Football Insider revealed in April that Kane has told friends he is keen to leave the North London club this summer.
Sky Sports reported on 18th May that both Manchester clubs, as well as Chelsea, had all contracted Kane’s representatives over a potential switch.
But McAvennie claims that the apparent pursuit of Griezman pursuit could spell the end for the Premier League champions’ hunt for Kane.

The former Scotland man also suggested that Kane might be deterred by the playing style of some of his would-be teammates at the Etihad.
“I think that move would be the end of them going for Kane,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“I think he’s tailor-made for Man United as well. With how Sterling and Foden play, that might sway him to end up going there instead.
“Everything’s into their feet, and they’re greedy and they’re dribblers. Kane wants chances and Pep’s not going to change the way they play.
“Don’t get me wrong, they’re wonderful talents. But that could be the three for Man City, Sterling, Kane and Foden.
“So he might actually want to go to Man United.”
