By Tony Hughes

Tottenham are set to step up their pursuit of Galatasary winger Bruma, according to a report.

According to Turkish outlet Aksam, Spurs are set to send scouts to watch the Portuguese winger again in the derby game with Fenerbache on November 20.

The report also suggests that Spurs could be looking to open negotiations for the player, with Galatasaray believed to be looking for at least £21.7million.

This follows positive reports from scouts after Tottenham previously watched the player on a number of occasions this season.

Squawka claimed that Tottenham watched the youngster in his first six Turkish Super Lig appearances this season, in which he scored two goals and provided three assists.

The north London outfit have been keen to add talented young players to their side in recent windows and Bruma would fit the style Mauricio Pochettino is looking to create at the club.

The 22-year-old winger has drawn comparisons with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for his playing style, but he is currently stalling on a new deal with his current contract ending in 2018.

This has brought suggestions that Galatasary could be looking to offload the young star in January to maximise the amount of money they get for him.
