Tottenham tipped to accept £120m Kane bid after Levy update - pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Tottenham to accept a £120million bid, plus £30million of add-ons, for Harry Kane.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward admitted he would be worried about how Spurs would replace Kane if he was sold.
Football Insider learned last week (13 August) Manchester City are preparing an “astonishing” bid that could be towards £150million, including add-ons.
City are set to sell Yangel Herrera, Pedro Porro and Morgan Rogers for significant fees this month to help fund a move for Kane.
Asked whether Spurs would accept a £150million bid for the England captain, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Yes, I think so.
“Daniel Levy’s probably picked up the phone to the owner of Manchester City and said ‘Ok, this is the fee. £120million plus add-ons of £30million. Send me that in a contract or don’t phone me back’.

“That’s what he would have said, I reckon. Then it’s down to Manchester City and whether they have to sell a couple of players to get the financial fair play to work.
“I still worry for Spurs. Even if they do sell Harry Kane and get that £150million, it doesn’t make that a good bit of business.
“Who do they go and buy? Nobody wants to come to Spurs. Martinez from Inter said no. Clubs are going to charge over the odds for their players.
“I don’t care if they went and got Martinez, without Harry Kane, Spurs are just a top 10 team. If you keep Son quiet, you’ve done the job. Before, it was Son and Kane.”
