Sky Sports pundit Jim White got a bit more than he bargained for when he put a tweet up asking fans whether they could ‘trust the sport’ they love any more.
White was talking after the Australian cricket ball tampering scandal engulfed the sport – and was looking for debate for his talkSPORT show – but Celtic fans had another agenda on their mind.
White is a Rangers fan and Celtic fans were incredulous that he had the gall to post a message like this after ignoring what had happened with Rangers.
They took to Twitter after he posted his message on Monday.
You love sport – I love sport, I’ve been covering it for over 30 years. But this latest scandal – the Australian cricketers caught red-handed ball-tampering – prompts the question : “Can you trust the sport you love any longer?” From 10am on @talkSPORT.

Celtic fans claimed that the ball tampering that was recently uncovered has got nothing on the “blatant and industrial scale cheating” they think Rangers got away with.
Here are the best reactions from Celtic fans who are keen to not let White get away with anything to do with integrity in sport:
What about oldco Rangers that wouldn't pay the face painter ????????????????????????

Your kidding. Right??

You've taken longer writing that tweet than you've taken reporting on a multi million pound tax dodging football club. You and that radio station are a sate of space.

Jim u have a platform with your job to bring all things that are bad in sport like yesterday's news of cheating in cricket condemned by all including sky. Yet ignore blatant and industrial scale cheating supreme court judgment simple question why. pic.twitter.com/bWd8ZkPevg

You supported a team that were proven cheats for a decade,oh I forgot those side contracts were just an administration error.

You mean apart from the industrial scale cheating and tax fraud undertaken by Glasgow rangers and the resulting cover up by the governing bodies? Surely tape on a cricket ball is insignificant compared to it
