'His energy turned that team around' - Rangers fans thank one player for win v Ross County

Rangers fans were ecstatic following Alfredo Morelos’ superb performance from the bench in the game against Ross County today.

Starting the game in the dugout, the enigmatic Colombian joined the action from the second half replacing Carlos Peña, who was slammed for his abysmal showing.

Rangers fans had been calling out for some attacking flair, and that is exactly what Morelos brought, finding the net in the 51st minute to level the score.

This was Morelos’ ninth Gers goal, and his first in 11.

Next up for ‘Gers is another tough fixture againt fourth-placed Hibernian, and if Rangers are to keep paced with un-beaten Celtic they will have to consider starting Morelos.

The 21-year-old talent has represented Colombia at both Under-17 level and Under-20, perhaps more first team appearances could put him in the international spotlight.

Its clear that the fans want to see more of him.
