BBC: Arsenal announce second club-record deal in one day
Arsenal have signed Borussia Dortmund winger Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a club record deal and Mesut Ozil has signed a new contract making him the highest paid palyer at the club, according to a report.
The BBC claim that Mesut Ozil has agreed a contract extension that will see him remain in North London until 2021 and becomes the highest-paid player in the club’s history with a deal thought to be worth £350,000-per-week.
In a day seemingly full of delights for Arsenal, there is a report that they could also be about to launch a surprise swoop for Tottenham Hotspur target Max Meyer.

Liverpool and Tottenham have both previously been linked with the youngster.
All this comes with the news that Aubameyang has officially been announced as an Arsenal player via the club’s Twitter feed and website.
The now-former BVB attacker arrives at the Emirates on a club record fee having signed a long-term deal at the Emirates.
It will give supporters of the club a chance to see the Gabon international link up with his former Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with whom he established a formidable partnership.
