Alex Bruce has tipped Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana to seal a move to a top-ten Premier League side when his contract comes to an end this summer.

The former Hull City and Leeds United defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, insists that the 32-year-old still has an awful lot to offer after struggling for game time at Anfield.

The England international is set to be a free agent this summer after six years with the Reds, with a number of other senior players set to follow him out the exit door.

As revealed by Football Insider, manager Jurgen Klopp believes he already has a replacement for the Southampton ace in rising star Curtis Jones.

Bruce told Football Insider: “I think he’s proved himself as a good Premier League player and he’s still at a good age. The big thing for him is obviously he’s had a lack of game time through injuries and whatever.

“It’s been difficult for him to force his way into the Liverpool team because they’ve done so well. The biggest thing for him is he needs to go and play and enjoy the next few years of his career because it doesn’t last forever, believe me.

“I think we’ll see him sign for a good club because he’s a good player. I think he’d be one for pretty much most of the Premier League teams, they’ll all be looking at him on a free transfer, he’s a good age.

“A host of Premier League clubs will be interested in him, a few might be put off by his playing record and injuries but I can see him signing for a top-ten side all day long.”

Lallana has played a bit-part role for Klopp this season with just eight starts in 22 appearances to his name.

He has a total of 178 appearances for Liverpool, having played 261 times for Southampton earlier in his career.
