Graeme Murty delivers two-word verdict on Rangers striker Morelos after transfer speculation

Graeme Murty hopes that he has put all the speculation surrounding Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos to bed after his latest pre-match press conference, and said striker Alfredo Morelos has been “fantastically professional”.
Talking ahead of the Saturday game against Hibernian at Ibrox, Murty started by saying that his side was not under any pressure to sell players.
He went on to say that Morelos “wants to play games and score goals” and that he will continue to do that at Rangers.
He also confirmed that there is no problem between the club and the player and said that Morelos had been “fantastically professional” and that he hopes this will continue.
Murty’s press conference remarks were put out on the official Rangers Twitter page on Friday lunchtime.

This comes after transfer deadline drama when it was reported that Morelos had been the subject of a late multi-million pound bid from a Chinese club, offering a lucrative contract.
The Daily Record claimed that Murty said the player had his head turned by the offer which is why he didn’t start in the midweek cup game v Fraserburgh.
However, he will be back in the reckoning for the Premiership game against Hibernian on Saturday.
And he was snapped at training on Friday beaming and looking very happy with life as he went through his moves with the first-team squad.
Murty will be hoping the smiles continue.
