Jarrod Bowen reacts to Michail Antonio’s ‘missed this’ message at West Ham
West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen reacted to Michail Antonio’s welcome return to the London Stadium for the match against Newcastle.
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bowen, but the England international had a night to forget as the Irons lost 1-0 on Monday night (10 March).
Bruno Guimaraes opened the scoring in the 63rd minute for the Magpies, and West Ham were unable to fight-back against their opponents.
Lucas Paqueta returned to action after missing the games against Arsenal and Leicester, but the Brazilian has struggled this season to replicate his form from last year.
Following the loss, Graham Potter’s side sit 16th, as the former Chelsea manager has struggled to revitalise the East London based side.

Michail Antonio returns to the London Stadium vs Newcastle
The Hammers’ fans had little to cheer about in their loss to Newcastle, however, they welcomed the return of Antonio, who is still recovering from a serious injury.
The striker posted an image of a TIFO displayed in his honour at the London Stadium on Instagram, captioned: “I’ve missed this. Thank you for the warm welcome.”
Bowen then showed his support for his teammate, liking the post. West Ham fans will be hoping to see Antonio return to the pitch soon, given his historically brilliant on-pitch relationship with the English winger.
The Irons will face Everton in their next game at Goodison Park, on Saturday 15 March.
West Ham’s dismal season goes under-the-radar thanks to promoted teams
Football Insider Verdict
It has been easy to forget about West Ham this season.
Since replacing Julen Lopetegui with Potter, the Irons certainly have not gotten worse, but they haven’t exactly improved that much either.

When the Spaniard left, following a 4-1 defeat against Man City, the Hammers were sat 14th in the Premier League table, on 23 points.
In the following eight games, Potter’s team have picked up 10 points, and they now find themselves 16th.
Whilst Man United and Tottenham‘s struggles are well documented, and the relegation battle is all but concluded, West Ham’s poor performances have gone under-the-radar.
However, if this form continues into next season, the Hammers could have all eyes on them, as their current form would see them as prime relegation candidates.
