Leeds complete midfielder deal for seven-figure sum, three-year contract - reliable journalist
By Harry Sykes
A busy day at Leeds United continues with the news that Liam Bridcutt has completed his move to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.
The news was announced by Phil Hay on his official Twitter page on Monday afternoon.
All fine with Liam Bridcutt medical. That's a done deal. Three-year contract at Nottingham Forest, fee in the region of £1m we're told.

That followed news broken exclusively by Football Insider on Monday morning that Bridcutt was having his medical with Forest.
Hay confirmed that everything was fine with the medical, declaring it a ‘done deal’ although it is still to be officially confirmed by either club.
A journalist on the Nottingham Post also tweeted the news, stating that Bridcutt was signing a three-year contract with his new club.

Word from the Leeds end is that it will be a three-year contract – and it is all basically completed. Done. No issues with medical.

If the deal is officially confirmed by tomorrow Bridcutt could be in line to make his debut as as soon as Wednesday night, when Nottingham Forest travel to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle in the League Cup.
In an ironic twist, Nottingham Forest then host Leeds at the City Ground in the Championship on Saturday, when Bridcutt will find out how the Leeds fans have taken to his move.
Another Leeds player who will be missing at the weekend is striker Chris Wood who completed his move to the Premier League on Monday.
He hooks up with Sean Dyche at Burnley as he attempts to replicate his stunning form for Leeds last season in the top flight of English football.
