BBC pundit raves about Rangers first teamer display v St Johnstone, makes £11m claim

BBC Sportsound pundit Tam McManus took to Twitter to rave about Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos for his performance in the Gers’ 4-1 victory over St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
McManus admitted he had been critical of the Colombian striker in the past but he was highly impressed with the 21-year-old in the win at McDiarmid Park.
The ex-Hibernian player also claimed Morelos could fetch the Gers £11million.
“I have given Morelos a wee bit of stick in the past for his all round game justifiably in my opinion but he has been excellent tonight,” McManus said, as quoted on his personal Twitter page on Tuesday.
“Bullied the lad Jack Kerr all night attitude been superb touch been great, held up up well and scored a smashing goal. Might yet get that £11million.”

Morelos has been one of the stars of the season at Ibrox since joining the club in the summer from HJK Helsinki, for a fee of £1million.
He has hit the ground running in his first season in Scottish football, and has scored 17 goals so far this season, with the latest coming in the victory over St Johnstone.
After being subject to lots of speculation linking him with a big money move to China, the player is set to remain at Ibrox for the rest of the season in a great bit of news for Gers supporters.
His performances, along with those of the players signed by manager Graeme Murty and director of football Mark Allen in January, have inspired the Light Blues to mount an unlikely title challenge to Celtic.
The Gers currently six points off the top spot in the Scottish Premiership table, with Celtic having a game in hand.
The Old Firm are set to meet at Ibrox on the 11th of March in a match which could have huge ramifications in the title race, and Morelos will be out to make amends after missing some chances in the goalless draw between the teams at Celtic Park in December.
