Rangers fans plead for key first-team star to stay after reported Championship interest
By Harry Sykes
Rangers fans have taken to social media after Football Insider broke the news that former manager Mark Warburton was set to make a bid to bring keeper Wes Foderingham to Nottingham Forest.
Warburton, now at Forest, wants a new goalkeeper despite having Jordan Smith, Stephen Henderson and Dimitar Evtimov on the books.
And he’s risking the ire of Rangers fans again now with a move for their current No.1.
Most Rangers fans want Foderingham to stay but they seem to have a healthy dose of realism and have been naming the price should Pedro Caixinha decide to sell.
Here is a selection of their reactions to the news on Twitter:

I wouldn't let Foderingham go for any less than £8m. If he was an English championship player right now you'd pay that.

Foderingham is so underrated, really hope he stays.

Foderingham, 26, joined Rangers two years ago from Swindon Town on a free transfer.
He is now established as the club’s first-choice keeper and has made a total of 96 appearances.
He’s a two-club man and all of his other senior appearances have been for Swindon Town where he played 191 times.
Rangers fans are now hoping that he stays a two-club man, especially for the near future.
