Club development hints that Arsenal £60m move is one step closer - reports

Arsenal transfer target Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been dropped from his side’s Bundesliga match against Hertha Berlin on Friday night, according to a report.
German media outlet, Bild, state that the Gabon international has lost his place in the starting line-up amidst interest of a £60million move to the Gunners.
It will be the second match in a row the midfielder has faced an omission, after initially being dropped for disciplinary reasons against Wolfsburg.
Aubameyang has caught the eye since his move to the German league from St Etienne in 2013 and this season the forward has been on fire – in 24 appearances he has bagged a whopping 21 goals in all competitions.
The same article also states that Arsene Wenger would also like to bring in Brazilian, Malcom, during the transfer window.
Football Insider verdict:
You could be forgiven for thinking being dropped for one game was due to disciplinary issues, but two? This move by Dortmund signals that the pacey forward is on his way to London. Arsenal will want to speed up this transfer and not leave it until the last minute. Gunners new scout Sven Mislintat will also have a massive input after he was the man who spotted the talent of the Gabon international midfielder whilst at St Etienne. If the north Londoners can bag the signing of Henrikh Mkihitarian too, it will have been a successful transfer window for Wenger and co.
