Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos could be on the verge of a sensational February move to Chinese club Beijing Renhe, according to a reliable journalist.
Bill Young, from RockSport Radio, questioned whether Morelos’ agent was coming to to talk to Rangers about a contract extension, or to speak about a move to China.
When he was questioned by a fan he replied saying that Rangers were still in talks with the striker but added some worrying details.
He said that the “Chinese hold all the cards at the moment and are playing hard ball”.
He also said that with his US-based agent flying in, it could open things up a bit more, but that the striker staying was “not as definite was it was.”

Reports of a huge bid for Morelos were confirmed by Rangers over the January transfer window but the deadline passed without any deal being done.
However, the Chinese transfer window doesn’t close until February 28 and the deal is still very much alive.
Football Insider exclusively revealed that the Chinese club was ready to come back in with an improved offer, including a £38k-a-week salary, which would be a huge increase on his current salary at Ibrox, said to be £7,000-a-week.
