Among those named were Sadio Mane and Danny Ings, who both have returned from injury layoffs, while James Milner was also included despite being considered a doubt after picking up an injury in their friendly with Leicester City.
However, it appears that a trio of likely summer departures have been exiled from the squad.
Defender Mamadou Sakho is also missing from the list, with Liverpool reportedly looking to secure his permanent exit from the club this summer.
The Daily Mail claimed that Crystal Palace were hoping to take him to Selhurst Park on another loan deal, but the Reds are said to be considering just a full transfer for the French centre-back.
Finally, Serbian international Lazar Markovic is another senior squad member absent from Jurgen Klopp’s squad, and his future on Anfield looks to be coming to an end.
Goal.com have reported that the winger has flown to Italy to hold talks with Fiorentina over a potential £16million move, with Jurgen Klopp publicly stating that the 23-year-old is for sale this summer.
In other Liverpool news, Sky Sports have provided a positive update on the Reds’ pursuit of this Premier League defender.
